My name is Abdurrahman Sami Seraj. I’m 15 years old and I'm from Saudia Arabia...
I was first diagnosed with scoliosis at the age of 14 on the 22nd of May 2014. The person who discovered it was my mom as she saw me walking with unbalanced shoulders. Feeling unsure of what is with my back my parents took me to the doctor who said that the only cure is to do a spinal fusion operation. Once we got back home my family decided to find an alternative and not to do surgery or wait and see. My dad went on the internet to find alternatives for curing scoliosis instead of surgery and he found a video of a girl who has scoliosis and had great results after doing physical therapy at a place called Janzen and Janzen Health Center.
Seeing the wonderful results we contacted them and found the addresses and knew that we were destined to go there. Before Janzen and Janzen Health center I had an S shape curve with a cob angle of 47 degrees. Thankfully after a little bit of hard work and support from both my family and all the great people at Janzen and Janzen Health Center I got my curve down to 38 degrees and I’m still going.
The treatment at Janzen and Janzen Health Center is physical treatment which does not have anything to do with surgery it contains stretching, Scoliosis Traction Chair, Eckard table, Rigo Cheneau style bracing, and spinal weighting. In the beginning some people might find it a bit hard but trust me it will all get easier and in the end it might hurt to do the treatment but the treatment is a lot better than doing a spinal fusion that will limit each and every move you make so in my opinion go with the treatment Janzen and Janzen gives you.
I, as a current scoliosis patient, at Janzen and Janzen Health Center would recommend this center closing my eyes. The doctors and staff treat you as family and make the treatment even easier. The atmosphere at Janzen and Janzen Health Center is a family atmosphere as you the patient your family, the staff, and finally the doctors all help to cure your diagnosis as soon as possible.
